Quad City Phoenix Festival

We Are Not Victims~We Are Survivors

2012 Theme:  “STILL I RISE”

You didn’t think a little thing like rain would defeat the Quad City Phoenix Festival did you?  Come on now.  We are the Quad City PHOENIX Festival.  This rain delay has only worked to make this year’s festival Bigger, Badder and Bolder than ever.  We have already secured two new food vendors, in addition to the four food and beverage vendors we had.  Just since Monday, August 27th we have acquired more prizes for the contestants in our carnival games, and some pretty amazing additional gifts for the silent auction.

So just like the women, men and children who have experienced physical, emotional or verbal abuse under domestic violence situations and  like the mythical bird that is the symbol of our festival, we rise up stronger, with a renewed determination.

The rain only worked to fortify our resolve:  STILL I RISE

What is the Quad City Phoenix Festival?

The Quad City Phoenix Festival is a free, fun-filled, family festival organized by the Semper Fidelis Club and Royal Neighbors of America to draw attention to the pervasive problem of domestic violence which is prevalent among all cultures, classes, income levels and age groups.  In addition, the Phoenix Festival will be an opportunity to gain resources, knowledge and strength from the QC community and other survivors.

All proceeds from the Quad City Phoenix Festival go to local domestic violence and homeless shelters.
